Fahrenheit Lofts, professionally managed by First Service Residential, contacted CMP to assist their community with addressing current CAL OSHA Life Safety regulations. Constructed in 2006 without CAL OSHA compliant access to the building’s rooftop mechanical equipment, guardrails, the inclusion of an exterior building maintenance system, or window washing equipment. These deficiencies are related to the original design and development of the building.
CMP partnered with a life safety consultant to complete necessary assessments of the current system, including design requirements to bring the building into full compliance for exterior building maintenance. Proposals were obtained for the design of the system along with additional structural and electrical proposals. Upon approval from CAL OSHA and approved Request for Proposal’s, the project went out to bid.
